JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Focus on the overall operation of hospitals and other large health facilities and requires both healthcare experience and business acumen.
  • Manage and coordinate the operations of a hospital or other healthcare facility
  • Involves wide range of responsibilities in fiscal performance, business development, supervisory tasks, patient care, marketing, and ensure that hospital has adequate staff and maintaining high-performance staff.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in a field related to hospital management
  • Health Informatics Specialist

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • College and Graduate level teaching experience
  • Strong focus on teaching and student success
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Community college teaching experience
  • Experience and/or certification in teaching online and/or hybrid courses
  • Experience using technology and learning management systems to effectively facilitate teaching, learning, assessment, and communication
  • Experience reviewing assessment data to improve student success

 

Special Skills:  

  • Specialize in patient advocacy
  • Knowledge in policy administration with strong networking and research skills to study, plan and build a policy that impacts the laws and regulations that govern the hospital care industry.
